Certificate III in Frontline Management (BSB31207)
Overview
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who provide supervision in a wide range of organisational and industry contexts. They are likely to have existing technical skills in a broad range of vocations or professions, but require some training in the basics of supervision. Typically they would report to a supervisor or team leader. At this level frontline managers provide basic leadership and guidance to small groups of others and have limited responsibility for the effective functioning and performance of a unit and its work outcomes.

Each module addresses a separate area of Frontline Management and will contain learning materials, a written assessment, workplace checklists and observation tools to ensure that all students complete the course with a valid and accredited set of competencies.
Duration of Study
Students are required to be employed in their chosen field of study to enhance their ‘on-the-job’ learning. They need to be supervised by a qualified staff member and working a minimum of 21 hours per week. It is anticipated students will take 12 month to complete this qualification.
Cost
The full cost of this course is $2500. This certificate is eligible for funding as a traineeship in NSW. The government may pay up to $4000 for each New Entrant Trainee. Your ICM consultant will be able to give you more details on the traineeship program.
