Certificate III in Community Services Work (CHC30108)
Overview
This qualification applies to community work delivered through a broad range of services which provide support to individuals and groups. This level is appropriate for support workers, case workers and client contact officers. At this level support workers and case workers may provide day-to-day support in community settings and/or provide assistance with entitlements and benefits under the broad direction of others.

Electives

Duration of Study
Students are required to be employed in their chosen field of study to enhance their ‘on-the-job’ learning. They need to be supervised by a qualified staff member and working a minimum of 16 hours per week. It is anticipated students will take 12 month to complete this qualification.
Cost
The full cost of this course is $2500.
This certificate is eligible for funding as a New Entrant Traineeship in NSW.
The government may pay an employer subsidy of up to $4000 for each New Entrant Trainee.
