Certificate IV in Youth Justice (CHC41908)
Overview
This qualification covers youth justice workers who supervise young people who have been directed by the justice system to be in the care and direction of authorised community and/or government agencies. The supervision will be managed through a range of community and institution-based programs designed to meet the social, behavioural, health, welfare, developmental and protection needs of young people.

RPL Pathway
This qualification is offered by ICM through a Recognition of Prior Learning Pathway. This allows our students to gain recognition for their work in the Youth Justice sector and is a fantastic way of acknowledging your skills. RPL allows you to use your resume, job description, supervisor’s reports and other documentation to gain competency against each module title.
Duration of Study
As this is a Recognition Pathway the length of time to gain your qualification is dependent on your ability to gather and submit evidence addressing the requirements of each unit of competence. Your appointed assessor will assist you in identifying suitable evidence and the process may include an interview.
